A Tell-Tale Heart by Edgay Allan Poe

"A Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgay Allan Poe is a short that I was familiar with. The story was about the narrator depicting how frighteningly twisted his mind is. It's a story compiled with insanity, guilt and time. “It took me an hour to place my whole head… would a madman have been so wise as this?” This quote shows that narrator is very prepared for a person in a normal state of mind; a sane person will have killed this old man without taking so much precaution as the narrator. Also, the amount of time the narrator plotted to kill the old man, with an amount of seven days. This was an interesting work to read about and it displays how a person describing that he's not crazy but he is. I recommend anyone to read this story.
