Medusa by Lousie Bogan
"Medusa" by Lousie Bogan, immediately I thought about a face filled with venomous snakes as hair, which I remembered in Greek mythology. This poems relates to Medusa because the poet is looking at her poetic power to make people become still. She uses metaphors like Medusa and the land she turns to stone and lifeless but still is able to grow grass for hay. Each stanza seems to describe what is happening, and the power of what Medusa can do. Also, it makes picture how her hair looks like with "And the hissing hair", which is living venomous snakes. I enjoyed reading this poem because it always interesting reading something relating to Greek mythology and I recommend anyone that does too , to read it.

Lonely Hearts by Wendy Cope
"Lonely Hearts" by Wendy Cope, the title of the poem was what I expected from reading this. It already provided a person who is lonely. While reading this poem, it suggest that there could be multiple people seeking for love to fill their loneliness. Or it could be a person willing to go the distance to do anything to have someone in their love life. This poem actually interested me while reading, because there are people in the world who're lonely and is in a need of someone to love or just simply to talk to. I suggest anything who just interested in reading poems in general to read this.
